DESCRIPTION OF THE ONESHOT PICKLEBALL GUATEMALA 2025 TOURNAMENT
The tournament will take place over three days, offering a variety of categories and game formats:
FRIDAY, March 14:
1. Singles:
- Categories and Schedule:
* Beginner (2.5-3.0): Starts at 7:00 AM
* Intermediate (3.1-3.5): Starts at 7:00 AM
* Advanced (3.6-4.0): Starts at 10:00 AM
* Open (4.1+): Starts at 12:00 PM
- Format: Double Elimination
- Games: 2 out of 3 to 11 points (Winners Bracket), 1 to 15 points (Losers Bracket)
- Semifinals and finals will be played on the same day
SATURDAY, March 15:
1. Women's Doubles:
- Categories and Schedule:
* Beginner (2.5-3.0): Starts at 7:00 AM
* Intermediate (3.1-3.5): Starts at 7:00 AM
* Advanced (3.6-4.0): Starts at 9:00 AM
* Open (4.1+): Starts at 9:00 AM
- Format: Round Robin Qualifying (2 Pools, Top 3 teams from each Pool qualify to play on Sunday for finals)
- Games: 1 to 15 points
2. Men's Doubles:
- Categories and Schedule:
* Beginner (2.5-3.0): Starts at 11:00 AM
* Intermediate (3.1-3.5): Starts at 11:00 AM
* Advanced (3.6-4.0): Starts at 1:00 PM
* Open (4.1+): Starts at 1:00 PM
- Format: Round Robin Qualifying (3 Pools, Top 3 teams from each Pool qualify to play on Sunday for finals)
- Games: 1 to 15 points
3. Glow in the Dark Party:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Format: Free play
